We are currently looking for an Associate Payroll Specialist ( to join our client’s team based in Prague. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll delivery across assigned markets, with a strong focus on the UK.

In this position, you will join a regional payroll team and collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Tax, and other stakeholders. The role combines hands-on payroll processing with a strong focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process UK in-house payroll using ADP and Workday
- Deliver accurate and timely payroll for multiple assigned entities in line with local legislation
- Input payroll data into systems or coordinate with outsourced providers
- Process monthly taxable benefits (e.g. company cars)
- Monitor personnel and salary changes
- Manage expats and commuters in cooperation with Global Mobility and external vendors
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and support audits
- Prepare and validate approvals for payroll-related payments
- Respond to payroll-related queries (tax, social security, etc.) from internal and external stakeholders
- Manage queries via ServiceNow
- Support standardization and continuous improvement of payroll processes
- Collaborate with HR Service Delivery, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence
- Assist with payroll reporting (earnings, tax reports, etc.)
- Participate in projects, process documentation, and optimization initiatives
- Stay up to date with payroll regulations, trends, and systems
Requirements
- Relevant payroll qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll within an international environment, ideally UK in-house payroll
- Experience processing payroll for multiple entities
- Knowledge of outsourced payroll models (e.g. ADP, SD Worx)
- Experience with HR systems such as Workday or SAP
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to work effectively in an international team and collaborate across functions
