Network Business Specialist

For our client, a global organization operating at the forefront of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences, we are seeking a Network Business Specialist. Our client develops and delivers innovative medicines, vaccines, and digital health solutions with the aim of improving and saving lives worldwide. The organization operates in a highly regulated environment and places strong emphasis on compliance, data accuracy, and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Business Operation Product Owner, the Network Business Specialist will support IT Network Services by managing financial and operational activities aligned with the Product Model and Portfolio Strategy. The role combines financial analysis, business operations, and stakeholder coordination within a complex, international enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial planning, forecasting, and analytical support for the IT Network Services organization
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders including Product and Product Line Owners, Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, IT Finance, Supplier Management, Vendors, and Procurement
  • Prepare and participate in Financial and Operational Review presentations
  • Support product teams in decision-making processes by providing relevant financial insights and analysis
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes, reducing inefficiencies in time and cost
  • Support Business Operations activities, including MS&O Product Owner management services (planning, creation, approvals, tracking, and closure within the Product Model)
  • Ensure continuous monitoring and compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Manage communication and support change management activities

Education

  • MSc or BSc degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Relevant professional experience may substitute formal education
  • Required Experience & Skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and interpret business operations models
  • Solid financial acumen and experience with financial planning and forecasting
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Results-driven with a structured, process-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced, and regulated environment
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong working relationships across teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g. healthcare, pharmaceuticals, banking, energy) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP and data analytics tools

Working Model: Hybrid working arrangement
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Contract type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Contract length: 1-year fixed-term (maternity cover, extension possible but not guaranteed)
