On behalf of our client, a leading global healthcare and life sciences company focused on improving and saving lives through innovative medicines and technologies, we are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations across the South Eastern Europe region.

Role Overview
As part of the Regional Payroll Mid Europe Region (MER) team, you will support the end-to-end payroll cycle for assigned countries within the Southeastern Europe Cluster, working closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end payroll processing for assigned countries
- Coordinate payroll activities with external payroll providers
- Validate payroll inputs and outputs, perform basic reconciliations
- Manage time & attendance data prior to payroll cut-offs
- Resolve employee payroll queries via ServiceNow
- Ensure payroll compliance, documentation, and audit readiness
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and regional stakeholders
- Contribute to payroll process improvements and projects
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous payroll experience, ideally within multinational or outsourced payroll environments
- Experience with payroll vendors (e.g., ADP Streamline, Celergo) is an advantage
- Knowledge of payroll legislation, tax, and social security processes
- Experience working with payroll or HR systems
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Additional European language is an advantage
- Team player with strong communication skills and positive attitude
