Our client is a leading global healthcare company, focused on discovering, developing, and delivering innovative medicines worldwide. They are seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join their HR Services Procurement team as a contractor.
This role covers HR Services (Employee Benefits, Occupational Health, Payroll) across Europe & EEMEA (~40 countries). The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Stakeholders, Suppliers, and Team Members, executing global sourcing strategies, managing contracts, and driving efficiencies through strategic supplier relationships.
Target Start Date: May 2026
Contract Length: May 2026 – October 2027 (maternity cover, extension not guaranteed)
Location: Hybrid, 2 days in office preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with HR and divisional leaders to ensure supplier services meet expectations.
- Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead negotiations, manage complex agreements, ensure contracts protect company interests.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build partnerships, monitor performance, foster innovation, optimize capabilities.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure sourcing strategies follow local laws and company policies.
- Lead RFPs: Manage local or regional projects with key stakeholders and implement aligned solutions.
- Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5–7+ years in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management in a similar role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
