Associate Payroll Specialist with German

Are you passionate about ensuring smooth payroll operations and compliance in a dynamic international environment? Our client, a global leader in healthcare and innovation, is looking for an Associate Payroll Specialist to join their team supporting the EMEA region, mainly Switzerland.

What You'll Do


As a Payroll Specialist, you'll play a key role in:

  • Processing accurate and timely payroll for multiple entities in compliance with local regulations.
  • Managing payroll controls for audits and approvals for bank payments.
  • Coordinating with Global Mobility for expats and commuters.
  • Addressing payroll inquiries, including social insurance and taxation.
  • Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to optimize processes and reduce complexity.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects and documenting payroll systems.
  • Staying updated on payroll trends and best practices.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with outsourced payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Celergo) and HR systems like Workday or SAP.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with fluency in English and atleast B1 German (big plus).
  • A proactive approach, personal integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in a multinational business environment, with focus on Switzerland Payroll for multiple entities. Experience in HR is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in (international) teams and collaborate / partner effectively at all levels across the organization.

Location: Flexible within the region, with the main office located in Prague.

Work mode: Mostly remote with occasional attendance at the Prague office. 2-3 times a year possibility of international travel.
